What are your hours?
We're open 8 am to 7 pm, Fridays through Sundays.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to most areas in the Northern Virginia area. Please use the zip code verifier to see if we deliver to you. A delivery fee will be calculated at checkout.
How do I place an order?
It's easy to order online! Browse our Flower Menu, add your selections to your cart (don't forget to choose your color and size preferences!), and follow the prompts to place your order for pickup or delivery.
How do I modify my order?
Though we cannot accommodate any cancellations, we might be able to modify your order. Please use the contact form or send an email to preciouspetalsva@gmail.com with your order number.
Can I make special requests?
While we gladly accept requests for specific color palettes, we reserve the right to make substitutions as necessary. Therefore, we are unable to guarantee any particular flowers or colors. If you have specific preferences regarding flower choices or colors, please include them in the "notes to florist" section when placing your order. We will try our hardest but please but please understand that there may be instances where we are unable to fulfill them.
How much is delivery?
We do not have a flat-rate delivery fee. Delivery charges are determined based on your location and will be calculated at the time of check-out. Pickup is free, and available during our normal business hours.
What time will my flowers be delivered?
Precious Petals delivers between 10am - 6pm, Friday through Sunday. Delivery times vary based on our delivery driver's routes and the recipient's distance from our boutique. While we cannot guarantee a specific time for standard deliveries, priority delivery may be available for an added fee. If you'd like to request priority delivery for your order, please email preciouspetalsva@gmail.com with your order number and the details of when you'd like your delivery scheduled.
What if the recipient is not home?
If the recipient is not home, our courier will leave the arrangement in a dry, cool, and shady spot out of the weather.
If there is no safe place or we are unable to access the property, the arrangement will be sent back to our boutique for next day pickup on the following business day.
I am interested in a custom arrangement. What do I do?
If you're seeking a specific arrangement, kindly reach out to us at preciouspetalsva@gmail.com to place a custom order. Please attach any photos or inspiration you have in mind.
Please be aware that while we strive to fulfill our customers' requests, availability is subject to suppliers and timeframes. To ensure timely delivery, we recommend contacting us at least 5 days prior to your desired date.
How do I care for my flowers?
- Bloom Bouquet: Remove flowers from the paper/wrap and recut the stems (~1 in.). Place in fresh, cool water away from direct sunlight or heat. Replace vase water every other day!
- Bloom Vase: Place out of direct sunlight and air vents. Add fresh, cool water every other day!
- Bloom Basket/Purse: Place arrangement away from direct sunlight. Keep the floral foam consistently wet. Add ~1/2 cup of water every 2-3 days!
Certain varieties of flowers last longer than others, but with proper care, our arrangements can last 5-7 days!
